Moving into our first house, confused by utilities!

In addition to sorting out who you go with, think about having some of the bills in your name and some in your OHs. Utility and council tax bills are sometimes asked for when a company needs to be sure of your identity and address. If the bills are all in one name, it can cause problems for the partner.

i don't bring in enough money myself to cover all of our bills so inevitably some will be made in her name
