Spear & Jackson - Praise

So the story. Bought a garden fork about 3 years ago. Think I bought it from Focuas but to be honest can't really remember.
Anyway, couple of weeks ago I was digging some plants out of the garden when it broke. Shaft snapped in two where it joins the fork bit. 10 year guarantee. Focus no longer exists so I thought I would write a letter to Spear & Jackson containing a photo of the snapped fork. It's a 3 year old fork so I wasn't expecting more than perhaps a few quid off a new one.
Posted the letter on Monday. Got home this evening to find the courier had left a parcel outside my back door - yup one brand new fork.
Spear & Jackson I salute you - that really is customer service.
