Amazon Kindle Packaging Question

I ordered a Amazon Kindle Keyboard form Tesco Direct for Store Collecetion.
I've collected the package and opened the bag at home and inside is a sealed brown Amazon Kindle box with a white "Kindle Wi-Fi" sticker on it.
The Kindle is a Christmas present for someone so i don't want to open it.
I'm thinking inside the box is the Non Keyboard version
Does this packaging sound right for a Kindle Keyboard ?

Thanks ;)

I would of thought the basic one would of had Kindle Wi-Fi and the keyboard one would of had Kindle Keyboard
  • Mine from Tesco was in a brown box with a picture of the kindle keyboard on it. Am not sure that they will have changed the packaging yet as they will probably still be selling old stock of the keyboard one.

You can get wi-fi versions of both. Just cos it says that, doesn't mean its a non-keyboard version. It just means it's a wi-fi version, not a 3g one.

I've just put the barcode into Google and it's brought up the Keyboard version so looks like panic over :p

    Thanks For THe Replies ;)
  • I've got a Kindle Keyboard and the box measurements are as follows:
    H:24 cm, W: 20cm D:7.5cm

My dad bought my mum the new style kindle at the weekend and the box is considerably smaller and shallower as it does not come with a wall charger.

    I hope this helps.

BTW - Who ever you have bought the Kindle for will absolutely love it!!! I can't put my down!
  • Oops! Just seen your reply Aletank. Took too long to find the pesky tape measure, lol

It lists them all alphabetic and has a "recent book" feature.
