in Credit cards
I have a Capital 1 15 month form here which I intend to send off next week, after I have applied for a new mortgage.
Ideally I would like some cash into my current account but of course C1 don't do that so I still have an MBNA card with a £9000 credit limit so could I transfer some cash across from the MBNA into my current account then BT from the Capital 1 card? Of course I would probably have 2 sets of fees to pay which is the only downside I cant think of. Anyone contacted MBNA recently for an offer on BTs or transfers?
I don't ideally want to apply for more than 1 new card but if anyone has any other good ideas I am all ears.

Asking Cap1 to pay off a debt held on a MBNA card and then transfering the funds from MBNA to your current ac should work fine
I think Cap1 will not levy a charge as for MBNA, well... it depends which way the wind is blowing
If you tell them it was a mistake- you meant to send the payment to a different card- and you would like the funds to be repaid to your bank ac you might well get away without a charge.
