Thank you for the Info'

Wish I'd known this on Saturday! I visited a local supermarket in Gillingham, Dorset, which has a very small car park. When I arrived there were only five disabled spaces and three parent and child spaces left. I parked in a parent & child only to be told if I stayed there I would receive a parking ticket and a £60 fine. I pointed out there were no other spaces left only to be told, again, I'd receive a ticket. Tongue in cheek I ponted out I was with my mother and was therefore her child (I'm 40) but the parking attendant didn't have a sense of humour! I was very tempted to continue shopping and to ignore the ticket, however, I wasn't prepared to have to pay £60 so my Mother & I took our business elsewhere.

  • Now send a letter to the manager of the store telling him that his agents stupidity has cost them at least £60.oo quid and will do again.

You mean you weren't prepared to be bombarded with threatening junkmail!

    this is an absolute must.

use phrases such as : 'lacking in trust' , 'devoid of commonsense' and 'resulting in a permanent loss of my custom'.

then sit back and await for a reply, which will probably blether on about 'statutory duty towards diabled motorists' and fail to address the points you raise.

still worth a dabble, though. the manager may not know what the monkeys are up to until he reads yr letter.

They do make you laugh these clowns as I was parked in a tescos car park and the stupid parking attendent had slapped one on my car and I was only feet away when I went to get in the car and see his ticket it was taken off of my windscreen promptly ripped up and disbursed onto the floor with a comment telling him next time he does that I would punch him this worked quite well as I have seen the clown on numerous occasions and he now tends to avoid me.
