Anyone have any idea how long it takes Tesco Finance to look at PPI complaints?
Mine went in end of September and I had a letter saying they were still looking at it 4 weeks after that.

Hi
In general its 8 weeks, the FSA have given banks more time, currently 12 weeks due to backlogs, yet businesses can also give their own timescales such as Tesco it seems.
I have not had any dealings with them myself, but have you tried chasing this up?
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi there
My partner is wanting to make a claim against tesco finance, I see on their website it gives a number to call but I am keen to just write to them direct to avoid being caught out with any questions. Can you confirm address where you are sending your claims too at tesco please. Incidentally we have made a similar claim with natwest and completed the standard form that was available on website and got back nearly 2k so well worth the effort guys!

I have been a member for years but never posted, I started my ppi claim in Sept by getting my agreement 1st..I received a 20th Oct to say they were looking into claim. Received a letter 11th Nov saying they wanted to offer me a refund of all payments, requesting statements from 2000-2002 as I have been on a DMP since then I didnt have any old statements so wrote back stating my balance when entered a dmp and hopefully we could reach an agreeable offer, so fingers crossed....
The address on letter is
Tesco Bank
PPI complaints
PO Box 27022
Glasgow
G2 9FP
tel no 0141 331 2366
hope this is helpful0 -

just an update
Tesco said they would refund all ppi in receipt of statements.. I never had any.
I wrote and explained ..they said sorry but cant make payment without them.
I emailed Tesco ceo and they then offered £50 after agreeing the £200 balance transfer.
I declined ..today got an offer of £381 for ppi as they found statements on a different filing system.
No offer of interest so will phone them tomorrow.
The refund will go towards my outstanding balance.
Am I correct in Tesco making an offer of interest at 8%
Its taken a few weeks but worth it...
Good luck with your claim..0
