redundancy and maternity leave

I posted a while back with a hypothetical question which is now becoming real
I am currently on maternity leave after having twins 15 days ago. I have just received a letter that following consultation it is likely that my post will be redundant in March 2012. That is all 13 of us will be made redundant. I know that if there was one post available my maternity rights would have kicked in and helped me but is there any support I get if all posts are going?
Will I still get my SMP? Is this on top of redundancy pay?
If there is a job within another department (there is nothing exactly the same on terms and conditions - I am a JNC Youth Worker) do I need to go into resource pool with everyone else to fight it out - or should I be offered it anyway - salary would not be alot lower though.
Any suggestions greatly received, and anyone any idea what I should do next ( I do have email address at home for an HR guy and am trying to get hold of union) don't want to do things wrong and not get full entitlements
Thank you

Yes, you would still get SMP in addition to redundancy, notice and accrued untaken holiday pay.0
