Hiya.
I woke up this morning to give my son his bottle, and found I had quite an achey back.
I gave birth 11 days ago, and have had fairly heavy Lochia, but my midwife said it wasn't heavy enough to worry about.
Anyway, this morning, my Lochia has suddenly stopped, I have diarrhoea, vomiting, and have pain in my back and my tummy. Is this just a normal thing, or should I be calling my midwife?
I obviously don't want to disturb her if it's just a stomach bug.
Any advice is appreciated

Im not a mother yet, but if you are worried you should call the midwife. Its what she is there for. If its something and nothing then you'll have disturbed her for a couple of minutes at the most and you will be reassured. Dont sit at home worrying. :-):jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0

Hi there
Give them a call, or phone your doctor as you may or equally may not have an infection or a tiny bit placenta still in place.
My bleeding with my third was start and stop light/heavy,and went on for about 6 weeks but never the pain you described.
You are never a pest to ask. Hope you feel better soon

Congrats on the baby and glad you rang somebody - I don't remember any of that with my first. I am pregnant with number 2 so have it all to go through again, but I can't wait.
Hope bubba is not causing you too many sleepless nights
Enjoy and get well soon hon.0
