The problem is.....that Frontline no longer works!
Lots of other retailers have been 'dumping' their stock in a similar way recently.
Much better to buy Advantage which has just recently become available without prescription, or best of all Advocate/Stronghold from vet.0 -
It does still work, just not everywhere, and I image the same thing will eventually happen with Advantage/Advocate/Stonghold, just like it does with childrens head lice treatment.
It's a case of once everyone starts using the same product the fleas will become immune, so you have to rotate to the next, inevitable really.
Thanks OP, I got some last time it was half price too.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
thanks peachyprice, I was really worried at paddypaws101's post and did a quick google search and found lots of people complaining that it doesnt work any more. I use program tablets as well so I think the 2 products together will be fine. I hope so as I bought 3 boxes!
I wonder if people are using the product properly? If you have fleas in your house then you have to spray the whole house, treat the animal and if you miss anywhere then the flea eggs will hatch out and the cycle starts all over again.
I'm ashamed to admit my dog got fleas in the summer, I was mortified! I have always used program but it didnt prevent the fleas. She also got a tick which horrified me too! I'd never seen one before and thought it was a lump! I got it off, sprayed the house, used practic (from the vets) and washed everything that wasnt nailed down! No further outbreaks (fingers crossed)
I hope this works then, especially now I've got 18 months supplySave £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000
