Purchased something online on Monday, and following day they reduced it by £30.
They havent got any more in size I want so cannot order again at the mo (will keep checking)
Wanted to ask whether anyone knows whether when it arrives I can take it into store - get it refunded - then repurchase? Going in anyway so the trip to the store isnt the problem.
I also have a Credit Note that I wasnt able to apply online, so I was going to try the tactic of wanting to apply this to this item, hence refund and repurchase and hopefully the new sale price would be applied.
Cheeky I know but no harm in trying, so just wondered if anyone knows what their policy is ?
Many thanks :-)

Prices in store may differ from online. Technically they should refund you if you tell them in a durable form of your intent to cancel. However, they are under no obligation to let you purchase it again.
Why not call them and explain and see if they'll refund the difference? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I don't think they allow you to repurchase. They certainly didnt in the past.0

I don't see why not; it would be in their interests, surely. It would cost them a great deal more in re-stocking costs to let it go back into the system. It would be a either a straight refund of the difference, or a refund and a sale. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0

It would be in their interests but usually returns do not go straight back out for resale, especially purchases from a different channel.
Also, they don't have to re-sell it to you - they could be awkward if they realise what you are trying to do (not that there is anything wrong with it).
For the sake of £30 I would take it back and try, and if they won't resell then just buy it online when it comes back in to stock.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
