Moving a child trust fund?

I've a Child trust fund with Nationwide, got about £1K in it.

If I want to transfer it to another provider, can I?

Been thinking about moving it to something that invests in the stock market, anyone recommend any? Also what returns has your funds made and over what period??

I've got mine invested (slightly by accident) in a stakeholder with The Children's Mutual. Thinking about Childrens Mutual or F&C, which funds have you chosen and how the return going so far???

Well, since I'm in the stakeholder, my money has all gone into the Insight Investments Foundation Growth fund. It gets a mention down at the botttom of this article as having had 34% growth.

That seems pretty good to me - probably someone else could have done better by picking the right funds but I know very little about it so for the minute I'm happy to stick with this choice.
