Do you know anyone who lives in Leicester and has a council tax bill?
You can get in cheaper if you are a Leicester resident.
If you plan on coming twice it's good value to get a season ticket - it's worth the money - just don't expect it to be rides and alton towers like.
The first time I took children there they thought it was going to be like a theme park.
It's not like that at all.
You do need time to go round things properly - next door there is the Abbey pumping station - great on one of their open days or if you like Victorian engines! I think it's a bit boring.
Food is not brilliant the shop has lots of nice expensive things.
You can for an extra £1.00 or so on some days you can book the children into a workshop where they make a mini rocket - alka seltzer tablet type.0
