what spec laptop do i need ?

do all my work and personal stuff on my highly spec dell laptop on the desk in my home-office,

i'm going to have to start travelling around the country .. don't want to take that laptop with me ... so thought i'd buy another one .. just for "trips out" .. Few bits of working spreadsheets / word docs i'd just use my usb pen thing to swop the data around.

i'd only need it ... 1) to send /receive emails
2) .. would need "office" on it so i can handle/email word docs and excel spreadsheets.
(i've got office for student disk so guess that's ok)

my thinking therefore is .. am i ok with a fairly low spec /"cheap" /"entry level" machine ... i don't need any other bells & whistles on it ... ..
whether intel/celeron is an issue ? ... whether i only need small memory & speed etc etc
Guess i'd have to accomodate "wireless" .. which i don't know about !

any comment..idea or recommendations ?

thanks

Intel Celeron-M is not an issue unless you want long battery life. It will certainly do what you want. You'll probably have to fit a wireless card, although some do come with them.
