Faulty goods repair or refund

It is a Visa card. However hopefully it won't get to that point. All back in the box now, I'll send it off again on Saturday.

Given the engineer notes accept that it does make a buzzing noise, one would hope this is quite a simple scenario.

Thanks to all who responded - always handy to know your rights in case of dispute. Pleased to report that the retailer has accepted return:

Hi,

Thanks for the RMA number. I returned the item, however it has today been re-delivered to me as "no fault found", yet remains faulty.

I will send it back again on Saturday so I'd guess it will be with you early next week, and would like a refund to the card used to make the purchase; although I had assumed this was not a design flaw, a quick search on the internet for products by this manufacturer suggests that this may well be so.

I assume you have the payment information, but if not, let me know and I can supply it.

I will, unless you advise otherwise, include the same RMA number with the package.

You may return the item again to us however you will need to use the returns number of [not included here]. Once we have received this then we will issue you with a refund back to the card you paid with.
