in Energy
Just popping a thread up to see if anyone caught this last night. Seemed to be arguing that the reason for rising prices is obvious and it is the government. I have some sympathy with this argument, and in particular I did feel Huhne was (is) a bit slippery. What exactly IS he saying about energy prices? They'll go down, sort of, maybe, as a result the the measures they are taking.
My main concern I guess is that they are engaged in a monumental and expensive follow for which we will all pick up the tab. I also had no idea Tony Blair agreed to 15% or all energy to be generated from renewable sources, when he was advised to go for 15% of electricity being generated from the same. I do wonder quite what the status is of these legally binding targets. In these strained times would anyone police it if the targets weren't hit?

Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.

I saw the Panorama. Sometimes it feels like somebody moans on MSE, and the BBC makes a program on it.
It used to be: Investigative journalism, followed by documentary, and we gasp. Now it's MSE Forum Post, BBC checks a few facts, and Panorama comes out, and YAWN.0
