Are you baking obsessed? When you’re not making notes from re-runs of The Great British Bake-Off, are you in the kitchen, armed with an apron and a rolling pin, whipping up an edible masterpiece? Think you’ve got enough cake-baking skills to outdo the great Mary Berry herself? Then we’ve got the ultimate foodie challenge for you.
The prize
Thanks to a wave of recent openings, Japan has taken Paris’ place as the world’s baking hotspot, with more patisseries there than anywhere else in the world. So we’re sending our first Big Bake Off winner to sample their wares. Flying courtesy of Virgin Atlantic, the winner will enjoy four nights at The Peninsula Tokyo (pictured above and below). A three-minute walk from the shopping capital of Ginza, this luxurious, contemporary hotel features an ESPA spa and an outdoor terrace with views of the Imperial Palace Gardens, and has five unique restaurants, including the Michelin starred Hei Fung Terrace.
It's simple to enter. Simply create the most beautiful baked product you can, and then send a snap of it to bakeoff@stylist.co.uk, along with your name and telephone number. Alternatively, tweet your picture to @StylistMagazine, making sure you include the hashtag #bigbakeoff.
We'll put all of the entries online, and then ask the baking enthusiasts on our editorial team (and, believe us, there are many) to select their favourite 20 entries. These will star in a separate gallery, and we'll ask you to vote for your overall winner.

i find this one a tad odd, if i cant see anywhere that you have to actually prove you baked the entry you are submitting, either by providing the recipe etc, so im sure some people would cheat surely0
