I need to get a couple of SD Cards(?? I think thats what they're called) for my camera. It's a Nikon coolpix 4600. I've never done this before - I'm new to this.
Anyone know where to get them and which I should get??
Cheers

The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Something like this would do the job
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002ZDQ6S/digicamreview-21
or

Any sd card should do the trick, hope this helps0 -
There are lots of places to get the cards.
https://www.scan.co.uk sell 2 gig 133x cards for around £20.
due to it being a high pixel camera i recommend buying a fast card denoted by the x66 or x133 speeds (higher the better)0 -

You can currently get a Kingston Technology 1GB SD card for £3.37 + p&p (£7.87 in total) from a third party seller on Amazon UK

Reasonable prices here, if you are buying more than one (flat rate postage of £3.95):

or, if buying singly, postage inclusive prices here:

I got the ByteStor 2 gig for my coolpix 5600 - failed within a month0

Do not buy them anywhere like Jessops. You will be a ridiculous amount to what you would pay online.

Go for either the Ultra 2 or Extreme 3 for best read / write speeds. If you want to save money stick with the standard ones.
I would suggest buying either a few 512 mb cards or a couple of 1 gb cards.
If for some reason one of the SD cards failed you would have only lost a selection of photo's.
Where if you had a large ( say 2gb ) and that failed, you would lose all photo's.Never buy a stupid dwarf -
