White Wizard from Lakeland is the most amazing stain remover I've come across. It's completely odourless and looks a bit like white/clear waxy shoe polish. No idea what's in it but it has completely taken out all manner of stains on all manner of fabric/carpet type surfaces for me (including red wine stains on a pale yellow sofa) without causing any damage.Life is mainly froth and bubble

I can vouch for White Wizard too. It even removes tough gun grease (dont ask!) The other thing is that white wine thrown on red wine gets its out completely (and a shed load of kitchen roll) or salt on the red wine.0

Have tried all the above on the stain left when I managed to tip over a full cafetier. Actually not White Wizard, I don't have a handy Lakeland. But I finally had success with Stain Remover from Pets at Home. It smells nice too.I believe that friends are quiet angels

I recently hired a rugdoctor and used stardrops instead of their detergent, it came up really nice, and it cost me 86p to do the whole house
also works well on small stains done by hand ( the white stardrops shifted sick and pet stains) i rub it dry after with an old towel
