HSBC Credit Card Protector

I have today received an offer for £426.18 regarding the PPI on my HSBC credit card.

I first claimed back in October 2010 and my case went to FOS in February. HSBC have stated that as they are only required to hold information for 6 years they have only refunded the premiums from 22/02/05-21/07/05. Now I have found 5 statements prior to this and I had the card from about 2001 but obviously I have no statements back that far. So my question is is there any way of finding out the premiums I was paying further back or is the best I can do is provide HSBC with the statements I have?

thanks

Send the statements you have and ask them to pay these too,you could see if they have statements, but this will cost you per statement.
  • thanks, i'll give them a call tomorrow and try and see if i can get them to go further back. as they managed to have statements from feb when the calculated my case in november. nothing ventured i guess.
