Swap £10 tesco for £40 jewellery

it is very store dependant and whether the manager wants the sales or is prepared to bend the rules. I managed to buy a £3k watch with vouchers and interest free credit last xmas with these vouchers. Had wrong names on and they accepted them after a little persuasion. I did have to travel 200 miles to do this but it was where the family live so I was there anyway! They shouldnt work on sale items but worth a try. My suggestion is go through the whole sales process, dont mention the vouchers and then produce them at the last minute on sale items. THey shouldnt be allowed with interest free credit either but if times are hard then youve got nothing to lose. I had area managers and about 10 stores calling me about my situation last year and I finally got the deal I wanted. a bit extreme but I manged to save over £1000 on something i was getting anyway. Dont be ashamed or embarrased this is about moneysaving!0

I ordered mine tues lunchtime - they came in saturday's post
looks like the gremlins are in their systems again...ordered mine on the 20th November...still showing as "not yet dispatched"....they'll be out of date or too late for Xmas at this rate...lol...No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -

Well Avios are virtually worthless now you have to pay tax, not sure about virgin, but if you need any jewellery, then Goldsmiths is a great deal.
Redspottedhanky was great for train tix, but now just gone down to x2 so only an average deal0 -
I have used Tesco deals tokens for a few years in Goldsmith's stores and the staff have always been very helpful and happy to accept them. My local store hardly ever has anything on display that I am looking for so I usually get the details on line to show them what I want then they order them in for me to collect .
This year I decided to order online for free home delivery but you have to then send the tokens to them and it cost over £5 for Special Delivery but I just didn't dare risk them getting lost in the post if they were not insured as they were worth over £150.
I posted them on Tuesday night and the items arrived this morning which was pretty good going.
If you could just input the voucher code numbers it would be much better and I can't see why they don't do this.
I'm not complaining as I got 3 gorgeous presents for next to nothing thanks to Mr.T. I'll start saving now for next Christmas as it's by far the best Tesco deal in my opinion.0 -
I treated myself, my vouchers this year have got me 3 cashmere cardis, and today after a trip to goldsmiths, a bracelet and earings, Im delighted.
I usually spend them on airmiles but thats not an option anymore.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
I did it last year and got a gorgeous diamond ring, this year OH wanted a Gucci watch as it was his 'turn' so we saved up and typically theres nothing he likes in there at the moment!! Oh well, if they get close to running out again I might be able to persuade him that 'I'm worth it!' again!!0
