                    Does the distance selling regulations cover hair straightners (sort of "personal item" so wasnt sure)?
Also if you buy online can you return to a store using the dsr?

            They are covered under DSR and whether you can return them to a store is up to the seller as online and stores may be run as separate businesses. Who is the seller?0

 Have a read of ASDA Direct's Returning your order instructions.
 If cancelling under DSRs, you need to cancel using one of the methods mentioned there.0

 That is not a stupid question at all, but the answer is yes, you can return them if you have used them.
