I want to download openoffice.org for a computer we use upstairs and is not connected to the internet,
I only have a cd writer and the download is 93 MB, is this too big to put on 1 CD?
also can I store it on this computer without opening it, as I have all the microsoft versions or is it not a problem having both on?

A CD stores 700 mb, more than enough for the installer file of 90 mb.
You can store but do not need to run the installer file on the computer where you download it. However if you wanted to do so, there would be no problem installing OpenOffice on the same machine as Microsoft Office in any case.0 -
Hi,
You will easily fit that download on a cd (they hold about 700MB), yes you can store the downloaded (installation) file on the PC without opening it, but it works fine alongside Microsoft Office (I have both on this laptop - needed in case a student needs files converting etc).

stick it on a usb pen drive it would be easier when you click download it should ask where you want to download it to, stick in the usb pendrive first and direct it to there then its not on your pc.
