Selling Second Hand Mobility Equipment

Hi,
I am trying to sell my late father's mobility scooter / powerchair on eBay (item 130598600601) but it would appear that it is not the best marketplace for secondhand mobility products...
I have no experience whatsoever of this sector and I would appreciate any advice on how to best sell the chair - for example personal experience of websites, or shops etc (I am in Devon).
Any advice will be gratefully received...
Thanks,
Ben

So sorry for your loss.
We had to do this a few years ago.
I can only tell you about our own experience, but i'm sure somebody else will be along soon with more advice.
Our local motorbility shop has a notice board for such things, but also they have a folder where they have items for sale, so it may be worth asking for their advice.
Also some local supermarkets and newsagents have an advertising board, so may be worth putting a card up with them.
Carry on with the ebay thing because recently a neighbour sold one on there and got a good price for it.
( I wish we'd thought of ebay as we ended up selling a brand new, never used scooter for £500 to a dealer, just to get rid, ( we bought it for £1200 for my step father, but unfortunately he passed away before he ever got to use it. )
I wish you well and good luck0 -
They don't sell for much second hand sadly. I ended up giving mine to my grandad as I just didn't have room for it here in this flat and I'll have to make do with my legs how they are (would've been nice for a day out though which I can't do anymore). He went on to sell it for about £150 yet it was brand new and cost about £600.0
