Yes!!! It has to be one of the better Job Centre initiatives.

Are they letting you go on it? If you want to know anything just PM me but it really is very straightforward. You take your 'coupon' (not sure why they call it that) which you will have completed with details of your job search on during a specified time i.e 9-12 on what would be your normal signing date. You sign it in front of the guy/girl on the podium and you're done!

You can only do it for 13 consecutive weeks though and then they drag you in every fortnight
  • how does one get on this 'drop and go'?

I was offered it by the JC staff as they realise that there is very little they can do to help me with my job search. I know what to do and they don't feel it's worthwhile me having to see them every 2 weeks as there's very little they can add.

I was offered this last week and now have to take my 'coupon' in every 2 weeks as they class me as someone who is already doing all they can to get a job and they cant help me any further. I just want a job asap!!
Time to get things sorted once and for all......

yes i used it and its easy to fill the form in(pretty much the same info thats in the booklet), i was advised to ask for a receipt to say the form was handed in which i thoguht was a good idea is forms can go "missing".

Yes, do ask. I don't think they particularly 'advertise' it. I had a rejection the other day too. I didn't even want the job but oh did I NEED it so it was tough to take. Rejection doesn't seem to get any easier does it? Good luck!
