Em....... Hot Wild Boyfriend?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Well, the ridiculous hotness of 35 degrees from yesterday disappeared overnight, to be replaced with a rather looking grey, cooler and potentially rainy day. I'm actually quite pleased, it was stifling hot in the bedrooms last night and very difficult to get any decent sleep. I am hoping for some sunshine for my London trip tomorrow though....
I've tidied the bank accounts and sent the Tilly Tidies to my MOP pot along with the £3.60 from Quidco.
I still haven't bought myself anything. Could change in London tomorrow, but I am honestly planning on being good.
The boys will be heading off up North at around 10 and wont be back until Sunday lunch/afternoon time. It's going to be first time I am at home without them all around. I don't think I've been home alone since before I had the children.0 -
Enjoy your time with your sister - I don't imagine you'll be around here too much over the weekend.
With both you and HDK away, I am beginning to feel rather bereft...s'pose will have to make do with GG:eek:
I only hope MWC, Tilly and Radish are around....February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Well, what a morning so far......
Went and did the food shop as soon as the boys had gone. Unpacked and put everything away. Discovered I'd sold another bag, so packaged it up and went to the post office with it on the way to my Yoga class. Did the Yoga, filled up with fuel and then a quick trip to McDoanlds (disgusting I know) on the way home as I remembered I hadn't actually eaten today.
Quick catch up on emails now.....
Sister should be here in an hour and half or so, then we'll be off for Afternoon Tea and then the spa for a swim swim and chit chat in the jacuzzi.
Phew...... I'm out of breath just thinking about it.
Natty - GG'll look after you x0 -
Moved the bag money - 10 stayed in account to cover postage, 35 to my treats account (towards this weekend) and 350 OP'd straight off the mortgage.0

The car - well, I love and appreciate it every time I drive it. Love my car.
Carpets - I'm very happy I got the new carpets but must admit to some marks already. I'm sure I should be able to shampoo them out, just haven't gotten round to it yet - inevitable with two children and a husband I suppose.
The painting was worthwhile too - we really need to do the kitchen, so that is next on the list. But I'm feeling skint at the moment so it will need to wait until I get another bonus.
Morning Lula, a belated thank you for this reply, it's good to know it's all worth it. I've not updated my thread yet but I've just bought a new (to me) car and of course spent more than intendedso that will also temper home plans though I'm definitely getting it all decorated and it's booked in for a couple of months time
Just on the last couple of pages of your diary now, a great read, you have achieved so much :j

Hi again Lula
just finished your diary and I hope you realise how far you have really come. Your mortgage balance is dropping big chunks and you a managing to have a RL too re home, family, holidays and building your business, go you :j
A great diary Lula which also shows the ups and downs we all have with this MFW malarkey, as many others have said before me, it's a marathon not a sprint
Have a fab weekend with your sis
