Oops, I shall be careful when she mentions downward facing dogs..... Although there was a mean old cow down wind if me last time, so it wouldn't be end if the world if she got caught up in any tailwind......
I took the boys to an activity morning at ds2's nursery yesterday morning. Thank goodness I had my emergency zipper money with me - everything was priced at 50 and with two of them I must have spent around £7 inc ice lollies which is ridiculous really as I wasn't expecting that I'd be spending. Oh well.
Boys played with friends the rest of the day and it was relatively stress free. They spent 3 hours pretending to be hairdressers and I must have had about 15 hairdo's.
I made a batch of tomatoe sauce last night. We had pasta, sauce, bacon and mozzarella and it was yum. I froze another two portions of sauce for future use.
We've been sticking to our meal plan pretty well this week and won't need to go proper food shopping for at least a week although we've had to top on things like bread, fruit juice and tomatoe sauce!
I haven't bought anything for myself, so I reckon I'm approaching 3 weeks. There have been many temptations though!
I'm booked for body combat at 11 and really not looking forward to it - I was dreaming about it when ds1 woke me up with a poke in the head this morning declaring "it's time to get up".....
Sun is shining after a night of rain, so perhaps a trip to a country park this afternoon assuming that I can still walk after my trip to the gym.
Natty - I've heard rumours of this fitness bug that you mention, im hoping that I'll be infected soon and that it won't seem like such an effort to drag my ar8e out of the house.0 -
Body combat was exhausting. Never worked so hard in an exercise class in my life! Enjoyed it though and I've signed up for more punishment next week.
I've worked up an appetite so we're going off plan and going out for a Sunday roast, nom nom.
Then, off to a country park for a walk (boys on their bikes) and then maybe to a friends for chit chat afterwards. Happy days.0 -
Signed up for another class??!! I think you may have caught the fitness bug;)
Your day sounds lovely - yum yum for going out for lunch. It's raining here and I'm still lazing around in my jams:o Will be back at gym tomorrow morning though as I only have one more week left before I attempt to fit myself back into work clothes...February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Yes, maybe I have that bug that you mentioned Natty.
Lunch was lovely, but service was pretty poor. It took 2 hours. Fine for a romantic date, not so good with two young boys.
Went to a river with fishing nets instead of the park as nearer and it was getting late by the time we'd had our lunch.
Btw - lunch was well priced, 3 course lunch for 4 people, inc 1 drink each and with my spa discount it was £47.
Had an early bath when back from the river and was ready for jams but ended up being talked in to going to the pub as it was a neighbours birthday. Just went for one drink.
I've pampered my feet and painted my toe nails...... Which saves £30 in a pedicure.
My arms, shoulders and butt are beginning to ache. I'm going to hurt tomorrow.0 -
2, TT to MOP pot this morning.....
Took the boys to watch the Croods this morning on the kids special at the cinema - £9 for the 3 of us, which isn't too bad. We all enjoyed, well worth a watch for those with small people to amuse during the school holidays.
We took our own drinks, a few sweets from the cupcake jar in the kitchen and a few biscuits too. Did the trick, so no additional money spent at the Cinema.
Very windy and looks like rain is on the way.
My arms, back (shoulder blade area) and butt ache like crazy today. Pilates tonight...... not sure I'll be able to manage a swim afterwards, will see how I get on later...0 -
You are going exercise crazy just now lula:T I seem to have stop and starts where exercise is concerned...right now I'm really enjoying it, however once I return to work I may revert to my CBA mode (although I hope not!!)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
