Quick Credit Card

Is it possible to pick up a card today/tomorrow from a high street bank?

I am intending to buy a cheap car and pay back in the next 3 months so lots of cards will be suitable.

You can apply in a banch but the card still needs to be posted

What the previous members have told you is not true.

MetroBank who have branches in London will issue your card on the SAME DAY in branch.

However it depends on your credit record if you will be approved.

Otherwise why not get a low rate loan or overdraft?

Not always. When I applied, I was given the physical card there and then, but had to wait for a password to come through the post, which I then had to quote to them over the phone to "activate the credit limit" - the card could not be used until this was done, and the credit limit showed as £1 on the web site prior to activation.

My letter took 7 days to come, but I think I was unlucky - 2 to 3 days is the norm.
