What's the best blue ray-home entertainment with ipod doc?

Also:
3D compatible
Under £500 if possible

Just got our first HD TV (with passive/cinema 3D), so looking to buy an all-in one blue ray and home entertainment system. We can't have wired surround speakers around the room due to cabling issues as we have an open fire in the way.

Any suggestions?

Please don't buy an all in one system. If one part packs up, the entire lot is useless especially with wireless. Why can't you run cables for the speaker at the far side of the fire all round the room to the other side of the fire? Mine traverse a doorway. The fact its an open fire doesn't matter. The heat won't be sufficient at the edge of the hearth to melt the insulation on the wire passing it.

We have a solid wood floor and stone hearth so running cables in front of that would look awful as its the focal point of the room. Going the other way would mean going 'miles' around the room and around two doorways into the hall as well as french doors with a wooden threshold (yes it's a big room).

Fair point about the all-in-one issue - will look at separate components

Is the TV going to be near the fireplace, as in 1 of the front speakers going to be either side of it. As most wireless system's only have rear wireless speakers. Plus the rear speakers will need power sockets, yes you can get battery versions, but lack the sound quality.

You can buy Speaker bars with separate subwoofer, or could push the boat and look at Bose system, but will need to up the cash limit a bit though.
Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j
