Help
I have been receiving all the dreadful excel parking letters, I have never parked on their car park only driven through and I got spotted on their camera yet there were no barries to say its not a drive through.
So the letters start coming and now I received a letter from Graham White solicitors as yet I have not contacted them to explain my situation, should I contact the solicitors by sending a letter explaining I never parked in their car park or do you think they just wont be interested and want their money.
Also do they eventually take you to court?
I am sick of the letters find them very stressful with all the wording to scare and I have received the phone call.
Any advice would be of great help
Thanks

Do exactly what is advised in 1001 other threads here. Ignore the letters. If you get a call, deny the debt and instruct them to refer back to the originators of the claim. End of story.0

Don't contact them but if you get a phone call from them and you deny the debt (very important to use those words), as per Slithy Tove excellent advice, then you also need to add that any further contact will be considered harassment and you will contact the appropriate authorities and the OFT and Trading Standards. Also, make out you have recording the call - they will not phone you back and that should be the last you will hear from them.0 -
ok, now lets get this in perspective,,,you recieved a speculative invoice from the world famous rogue company ,,excell parking=no legal powers whatsoever, you now say you have recieved a letter from,,,graham white solicitors(not true, they are not solicitors),,you say shall i phone them to explain,,????,,but wait,,,do you think they wont be interested and want THEIR MONEY=they want YOUR MONEY,,,this is what they do,,scare/harass/intimidate,,,what ever word you care to use,,,remember this you are not dealing with a ligit company, you are dealing with,,cowboys/rogues/con men/scammers of the first degree,,,they want,,remember bob geldoff=live aid,,,,YOUR MONEYNOT THEIRS,,,,excell/roxburghe debt collectors/graham white,,,=scammers,,nothing else ,no legal back up,, they dont do court=they will lose 100% certain,,,,now what to do,,listen carefully to the advice you have had if they keep pestering,, deny the debt,,tell them this call is being recorded and continue bothering me/harassing me you will report it to oft ,,do NOT ENGAGE IN CONVERSATION WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES,,speak over them continually,,i deny the debt,,use the broken record,,i.e. keep repeating,, i deny the debt,,they then will stop this nonsense sooner rather than later, and will move on to some other poor unsuspecting individual,,,i have a drawer full of loo paper from all these people, with threats galore, which amount to nothing,, here is how it works,,,excell letters/threat o gram are sent out by lucy(she is an illegal immigrant here on no wages),,,then roxburghe letters are sent out by dumb jon on the next desk along(he cannot get a job anywhere else),,then finally graham white solicitor (NOT) letters are sent by janis(she is on work experience) who sits at the desk just further away, nearer the loo,she just does her finger nails all day and texts her mates about how easy this job really is,,relax now ,chil out,,keep coming back here for reassurance,,watch the you tube clip of,,,,watchdog/parking charge notice,,and see what the barrister does with it????.dont forget IGNORE.0

Graham white is a trading name of the company they all use to try and scare the invoice payment from you.
The best way to deal with ANY phone call is to answer and take control of the phone.
Ignore anything the caller says at the start of the call, do not answer to your name.
Example: caller: can I speak to Mrs Bridgett Jones please
ANSWER: Can I ask Who is calling please.
Caller: Is that Bridget Jones
Answer: Can I ask who is calling please
Any genuine caller will now state who is calling.
If they refuse : hang up:
If they oblige, if you are not expecting a call from these people, do not confirm your name.
Ask can you state your reason for calling please.
If they refuse or start spouting data protection nonsense , Hang up.
If they oblige and you do not want to speak to them.
Simply state you will attempt to find the person they are asking for.
Place the phone down and ignore them for a few minutes, they are paying the bill and they do have a budget of what they can spend on phone calls chasing the debt.
Repeat as many times as required.
Remember this is YOUR phone, stay in charge of the call.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
