Bt to virgin Positive Balance

Options
Hi,
I did a slow stooze on Virgin at the begining of the year which had to be paid by Nov 9th, I didnt have enough time to get another card and my Barclaycard wasnt doing any offers which they do now and then.

Therefore, i paid it up £700 only to get an offer from Barclaycard end of last week. What I was thinking of doing is just do the BT from Barclay and tell Virgin that the BT didnt get there early enough And hope they refund it back to my current account. If they wont I was going to leave it in virgin and spend on the card over the next few months which will soon reduce the positive balance, does this sound ok. I want to do this as it has left me with a little cash flow problem. BT is 2.9% until November 2012
