    i saw this early this morning when my son though was a good idea to get up at 6 and left as my brother ALWAYS asked for it but it hardly ever got opened i think i used to browse it more than him ha ha.
  • ive just had an email from sainsburys infoming me that the guiness world records book has gone oos and they have cancelled my order! :mad:

    really annoyed as my son would have loved this, and considering i ordered it at 7am yesterday im pretty annoyed!! gonna ring cs and rant! :mad:

    this happened with me on the Lee Evans book. I sent an email of complaint stating they had accepted my order and therefore should honour the deal and hey presto a couple of hours later i got the offer, may be worth 5 mins of your time.

    just spoke to them and they asked if i can call back in 24hrs as they are uncertain as to wether or not is is oos?! will be calling back tomorrow and asking them to honour it when it becomes available again

    Sainsburysentertainment has awful customer services. I had a complaint about a year ago. The person who replied had obviously not bothered to read a word I had written and when I wrote back I was just ignored.

    Eventually I found out that they are not run by Sainsbury's themselves and as far as I can tell, Sainsbury's take no responsibility for the people they allow to use their name.

    On top of that, take a look at their general prices and compare them with pretty much everyone else. You'll find they are very expensive. Seen a bargain on their website? Take my advice and look around for 5 minutes. Chances are you'll find that bargain cheaper elsewhere (sorry, meant to say EVERYwhere).

    Expensive & terrible customer service. Not a winning formula as far as I'm concerned.

    I can only speak from my experiences and have ordered from them many times in the past without any problem.

    Ordered Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Tuesday's Offer Offer of the Day, received prompt order notification e-mail, despatch e-mail Wednesday and received item yesterday.

    Order Guiness Book of Records, after it came back into stock yesterday, again prompt order notification and despatch e-mail last night.

    These 2 books have saved me at least £6.00 on normal offer prices, so I am very happy.

    As with all of these Companies, there are good and bad stories, but we always seem to concentrate on the bad.
