Our spar and all local shops do 8 pints for £2 or if it's OH's work 8 pints for £1.80. Just aswell really as we go through loads of the stuff

Noticed Tesco here have started doing there own milk £1 for 4 pints too, must be competition.

had to edit pints, I got mixed up :o

iceland sell 4 pnts for £1, co-op do purple top for £1-£1.15 (the price seems to change every time i go in!) and most supermarkets do the 1% fat milk for around the same sort of price

doesnt taste any different to semi skimmed at all :-)

Farmfoods are also £1 or 2 for £1.80. Aldi/Lidl are £1 each too. My local Spar is great for reducing bread at tea time to about 30p a loaf. Have often got fresh chickens, albeit small ones for about £1.60 half price. Spars aren't cheap but mine does good reductions.

Unfortunately not, just Morrisons, Saisbury's. Poundland/Iceland
at least 30 miles away in Leeds.

People wont have one in Harrogate, dont you know:p which it 11 miles away anyway.

Having said that, we have just got a new Jack Fultons, I'll have a look in there too.

Having a Pound shop in Harrogate is like having a beef wellington made with the finest fillet steak money can buy and having it covered with Tesco value ketchup.
  • Don't the supermarkets sell milk in pints? E.g 2 pints = 1.136 litres and 4 pints = 2.272 litres.

Therefore if you are buying just 2 litres of milk then are you really saving as it is less than the 4 pint bottles at the supermarkets?

I know my local corner shop sells piddly little 1 litre bottles of milk for the same price of 2 pint at Asda.

    Morrison's milk is £1.18 for 2.2 litres.

Which is 10% more than 2 litres and cheaper as well.

Spa is a rip off at the best of times.
