Alternative to RBS 0870 Number

Hi all,

I've done a search on the forum and I can't find a post related to this, so I apologise if this a duplicate.

I needed to ring RBS today to CANCEL (yes, cancel :j) my CC (never thought I'd say that!) and I refuse to pay for calling them.

So after a lot of Googling, I found an alternative number to the main card services line:

01268 508023

The number is listed on the back of most RBS/Natwest cards as their international number. I just call that.

Calls to 0870 numbers are included in most landline suppliers inclusive minutes these days.There is no longer any revenue sharing allowed on these numbers.

If you dont have inclusive landline minutes BT in fact charge you the same to call 0870 as they would 01/02 number,s,as do some other other landline suppliers.

BT,s costs are Weekdays, Daytime from 07:00:00 - 7.6p per minute and set-up cost of 12.5p Weekdays, Evening from 19:00:00 - 1p per minute and set-up cost of 12.5p
