Yes they are.............just paying o/s bills, which are almost cleared. Although we don't use them all the time, because of this mess we are in, all we are paying are preferred suppliers who, if we had no debt with them, we would be using.....thats only two - the rest are current expenses.
But hopefully can include business o/d of £5k and get ourselves another business acct with NO OVERDRAFT0 -
I highly doubt you will get a business account while you are BR. you will probably have to open a second BR friendly current account that you use for your business. I know a few on here have opened a second Cashminder.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Hey SOTR. Don't worry about it being in the paper. It doesn't appear until after your discharge date

As per your other thread, NatWest Foundation Business account for those with poor credit - comes with 2 years free banking and a cheque book/debit card. Doesn't mention overdraft so assume none available unless told otherwise.
Not sure if it can be opened and used during BR year, but know discharged BRs have mentioned on the forum being able to get this account.
However, if you are able to obtain this account for use during BR, I'm guessing it would be unlikely the cheque book would be made available until post discharge. Certainly undischarged BRs are not allowed a full bank account with cheque book for personal use... if you ring up and ask I'm sure NatWest would advise. When I joined, I needed a name. Not so helpful then, sorry, didn't realise.
He'll have to survive with a second Cashminder account for the business then and just do direct bank transfers instead of sending cheques. Suppliers should be happy with this as it means the money is in their account within 4 days, instead of waiting for a cheque to arrive in the post, then bank it, then to clear...When I joined, I needed a name. Be very careful if operating a 2nd cashminder account as a business account, as it is against their terms and conditions.:pB&SC No. 298
