Gas stove thermostat wire chewed

I'm not too sure where this should go, but I have always received good advice here so I thought it would be ok.
So my rabbit managed to chew through my thermostat cable. Both the ends are fine and look like this:

However the wire looks like this:

Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives to this cable as opposed to the 'official' cable which includes the thermostat (which is fine), the gas line attachment (again, fine) and the clips which are still on the wire? It's about 60cm long, silicone/textile shielded wire - not sure what metal it is but it's not copper.
Any help much appreciated!
(it's removing my links so if anyone else can 'inline' the photos that'd be great)

Are there spade connectors on both ends?

Yup, that image is both ends of one of the cables, and there are 2 identical cables. The spade spade and bucket fit into each other.0 -
Hi,
I would have thought the leads would have been a separate item .
What is the make/model and where did you find the spare you mentioned?

It's a Dovre 500 Gas and I found the part number:
DV-YG7646
Direct from Dovre (Stovax)
I'm struggling to find a reseller (towards whom Dovre pointed me) to source the parts, they immediately just phone Dovre/Stovax and then nothing.
It's not a complicated part, I just need it!0 -
And for future, don't use a live rabbit for rabbit stew.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

onto my third part # now:
DV-DOV50011
For such a simple item it seems incredibly hard to source! Does anyone know what this wire is and then I can make it myself?
Silver wire with a silicone-fabric sleeve.0 -
Have you actually rung the compoany and spoken to tech support rather than just getting "nearest stockist" details from the mfrs website?
No I don't think you can make this yourself.

Yes I have, they've categorically said that I have to go through one of their suppliers. However when I give the suppliers the code number, they go back to the stove company and then are told that the part doesn't exist!
Pretty crazy for some kevlar-coated wire!0 -
Lunacy. Escalate this as a complaint up the management tree.Yes I have, they've categorically said that I have to go through one of their suppliers. However when I give the suppliers the code number, they go back to the stove company and then are told that the part doesn't exist!
Indeed.Pretty crazy for some kevlar-coated wire!

Latest in the saga:
1) DV-YG7646 - wrong part.
2) DV-CT15282 - doesn't exist.
3) DV-DOV50011 - no longer a part and is obsolete.
Handily we have an electronics specialist here and he happens to have some Kevlar wire and high temp solder so he's making the part up for me.
This is mental, the guy on the phone said 'ooo, must be at least 5 years old now'.
Is 5 years the maximum time any support is given to a stove which should last at least 4 times that? It's not exactly a protected element and it's not a far stretch to think that it might perish at some point.0
