Expired CC - need to return item purchased

Hi All, I wonder if you could help - I purchased a couple of items on my Egg Money cc which I need to return now. However, following the transition, my Egg card has been replaced with a Barclaycard from today. Should I still be able to get a refund ok and is there likely to be an issue with the change of card issuer? tia
