viessman boilers

Going to buy a new boiler and been advised to get one of these. I'm spending about 1000 pounds on the boiler so was just looking for a bit of feedback on them from people who have them or fit them.
I was told they come with 5 years warranty parts and labour which sounds very good.

Hi.
Good boilers.
You will get 5 years on the 100 series from any installer.
To get 5 years on the other models you will need to get a Viessmann trained installer.

The bloke who will install it is a viessmann fitter. Are they better than worcestor bosh or vailliant ?
I can only imagine they are with such a good warranty.0 -
Anyone else have opinion on these or own one ?
I'm just trying to get as much feedback on them as I can as my boiler is broke (ariston euro combi) so need to make my mind up as quick as possible.0 -
Hi,
Flip a coin between the Ecotec series and the Viessmann 100 combi.
200 Viessmann superior to Vaillant.
Would use a Viessmann heat only over the Vaillant though.
It's the heat echanger that does it for me. C/h !!!!!!!!

My father-in-law recently fitted a Viessmann in his own house - he's retired now, but spent his whole life running his own ( very successful ) plumbing business. Make of that what you will :-)0

Im opting for the viessmann 100-W 35Kw i think. 17 to £1800 fitted with wireless thermostat and flue.0

Decent boilers imo, think you made a good choice. It's all my plumber fits.
Had ours two and a half years (Vitodens 35kW output, not sure of model number, 5 year guarantee too). We had a weather compensator thing fitted too, which apparently increases the efficiency. Straight away our consumption dropped 30-40%, compared to the old bolier it replaced.0 -

How do measure your consumption ? i would like to compare it with my old one when its fitted.
Also how much was the weather compensator ?0 -
We "inherited" one of these boilers when we moved here last year. So far it has been fine, no problems whatsoever.0

If its a long warranty you're after, go for one of the new SIME Murelle boilers. 10 years parts and labour warranty.
Fitted my first one today0
