Save Disabilty and Services

I think I may have posted this on the wrong forum so I am posting it again as it really effects everyone on benefits particularly the sick and disabled.

I hope you will all take the time to read the following blog

http://carerwatch.com/reform/

written by a blind lady by the name of Pat Onions and with the support of carewatch she has started an e-petition -

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/20968

to ask parliament to once again review its actions on the cuts which are affecting the most vulnerable in society. This is important as Parliament seems to have reneged on its promise to do this.

This petition which was just started today has the backing of a number of disability groups and it may stand a chance of having action taken if it can gather enough signatures.

So please just spare a few moments and read the blog and sign the petition - don't forget once you sign the petition you have to go to your email account to verify that you were the person who signed the petition.

Thanks.

The peition is now on its third day and has now reached 1439 on its third day. As this could potentially effect anyone either personally or through a family member then it really needs everyone' support.

This is a desperate time. The increasing pressure on people with disability to work or lose benefits is becoming unbearable. Cuts to benefits and services are seeing many family carers placed under enormous pressure too.

A community is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable members. If you think that in times of crisis we should try and protect people with disability and their carers please sign Pat's petition at

Once was quite adequate to post it, there's no need to spam the forums, making it harder for others to see what threads have really been active.

    - spam ~~DELETED~~& button clicked this time

I speak for myself .. .. others may disagree, others may feel the same but say nothing, I choose to speak out !

heater, you have chosen to indiscriminately splatter your post across all threads, dredging up non-live ones in the process making the reading of the group a frustrating chore.

Your intention was good, your method is bad, start your own new thread header in the proper acceptable manner and give those of us here a choice [ which you have now denied the group ] to tag and follow the threads I / we choose rather than you deciding for us myself what we I read - that style of gerrymandering the threads for your own purpose takes away my right to choose what I read and what I don't.

An absolutely a pointless waste of the worlds alphabet and my time having to re-read the same same in all threads posted .. .. each new live thread is the heater junk. This time I have clicked the spam button and encourage others to do so, there is no justification whatsoever with this hijacking and destruction of other peoples threads.
