Partner to move in with me? help?

Hi everyone

I am currently renting a 1 bedroom flat on my own and receiving housing benefit of £65.00 per week.

I am receiving Incapacity benefit.

My partner is going to be moving in with me and she is also receiving the same amount of Incapacity benefit, can anyone tell me if I will still get the rent paid and how I go about it?

you will have to claim as a couple which is a lot less than two single claims.

How old are you both? Are neither of you not able to do a bit of work under the Permitted Work Scheme? Have you worked before? I see your partner had a job some time back. Was it a redundancy?

I am 41 my partner is 33 we are unable to work at present unfortunately.
