apart from companies like tescos and nationwide writing to you, how else do you know if they have new zero balance transfers for existing customers please. It seems that all the offers are for new customers only. so, will it be best to cancel these cards and apply again later? There's not much loyalty from these companies for keeping existing customers happy?

On some banks they appear on online banking under offers. Or you can always phone up and ask them. If you have a nil balance on the card you can sometimes get the best deals by asking to be put through to the retentions department and see what offers they can give you (assuming that they want to keep you as a customer).
This thread might be worth a read Unoffical Existing Customer Balance Transfers to see what other people with the same cards as you are being offered (obviously the later posts will be the relevant ones)A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Depends on the cards, for instance my Virgin card, is constantly given me repeat offers for purchases and balance transfers. I can view offers online and they send them by post.
Natwest keep offerring me a balance transfer deals, via letters and Halifax also offer me balance transfer deals via letters.
All the above cards have had a zero balance on them, when deals are/were offerred.
In Halifax case I hadn't used the card in months, before the first deal was offerred. In Natwest case the card never carries a balance for more than a couple of weeks, before I pay it off in full. Virgin seems to offer me at least 3 offers ongoing (absolutely best card I have by a mile).
On the other hand Egg never offerred me anything in years, nor has Tesco for about the past 12-18 months since I cleared the balance to zero.
My customer profile, well I only ever now used credit cards, when there is a 0% APR offer on it. So I'm not exactly profitable for them.0 -
So who is it ?0
