The offer on at Bestbuy is for the old version of the wii, which has gamecube compatibility. This one is for the brand new "slim" version which is smaller, and doesn't work with old gamecube games, (just the wii ones). Its the cheapest I've found for a wii slim they're usually £129, and you can get mario kart **preowned** from game at £12.99 so it only makes it £102.98 total... personally id pay the extra 7 quid for the new machine, though thats up to personal choice!

    Many thanks for the post!:)

I'm buying one as we speak!

Looks like the same bundle is also available at Tesco, but cost is £119.99, so the Asda offer looks like a bargain.

    Ordering mine now!

Thanks to the poster for this, Just ordered one for my girls, Im well impressed with the price and went through Quidco too! Does anyone know whether I need to buy any additional remotes or accessories etc for it?
  • Fair enough, but we wanted the gamecube compatible one, so still a good deal methinks.

....I notice that most Ebay sellers of Wii remotes have loads of negatives against them!?
