Halifax ultimate reward current account?

Hi, I have been a halifax customer for almost 20 years and have had their standard current account for all of that time.
I have always been happy with the online banking through them, and as I am currently thinking about renewing our annual travel insurance, I was considering upgrading to the Ultimate reward current account and just wanted some advice really.
I need an annual worldwide policy to include US travel, I also have mobile insurance through Orange which I could cancel (I believe that I currently pay £6 a month) - so assuming I am not missing anything, both of those look good under the Halifax product. Have you found the same?
Finally the other consideration is the AA breakdown cover. This might well prove to be the deciding factor, as I have been told that several places in Florida accept AA for hotel and dining discounts, and we will be travelling there next year.
My main question is - do you get a 'regular' AA membership card if you take it out through Halifax? (I understand to get the discounts in the States you need to carry your AA card with you as they 'swipe' it).
It looks to me as though this upgrade to our current account would be a good 'fit' for us - do you agree? Or am I missing something?
Many thanks for any info/advice:)

I don't think you get a members card because it is usually administered by a 3rd party.
I have RAC cover with my Santander Reward Account however all the benefits are administered via CPP.
There is nothing wrong with fee-paying accounts provided that you are happy with the level of cover on each of the bundled insurances.
Personally I think the URCA is one of the better value ones especially with the £5 "cashback" each month0 -

You don't get any AA card at all. Your Halifax card acts as your membership card and it's the bank card that you present to the AA when they turn up.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!0
