Bless you cullet for taking in an older gal looking for a decent home. Ruby and Stella send woos and woofs, to a 'fellow' schnauzer;)
amibovvered, AFAIK, Many Tears do a deal, for want of a better phrase, with a puppy farmer, grrrr, and take the unwanted b!!!!es off them instead of them being put down on a no questions asked policy. I suspect that most of them will end up down in their area. Go for a ride out and visit them:o:p0 -

I'd love one, I'm currently looking for a companion for my 9 year old standard Schnauzer but I'm in Lancashire and they all seem to be Wales/down South.
Just to say Many Tears do rehome nationwide - my mum is based in Surrey and adopted a dog from them last year. She did drive to the centre in Wales (bit of a day trip!) but they do have fosterers around the country so the possibility of them having a dog nearer to you.0 -

I'm in Edinburgh and I've got a Bichon that came from Many Tears, Ellie was in foster up here.
Cullet your girl is gorgeous and well done for taking an ex breeding machine on :beer:0 -
She's beautiful! Spaying is best 6-8 weeks after she has finished her season (stopped bleeding). Too soon and there is an increased risk of bleeding and can occasionally cause symptoms of pseudopregnancy.
Welcome to the world of Schnauzer owning
Prepared to get stopped alot, I do with my old boy! 0
