Do you think it would be possible for me to live 2 months spending almost nothing?

How full are your cupboards? It's easily do-able if you normally keep a good stock of stuff in.
IMHO there's limited point doing it if it means you're spending unwisely - e.g. buying 2 loo rolls instead of a pack of 24.I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.0 -
If the £25 is just for food, toiletries & cleaning stuff for 1 person then yes £25 a week is easy to live on.
If you have to pay utilities as well then it will be tight.0 -
You could live on less than £25 a week quite easily.
£3 for 3kg pasta.
£1 for bacon trimmings
£1.20 ish for butter
20p per onion
mushrooms - cheap, not sure of cost
If you were to live on pasta dishes for the whole month it would be very cheap. That would be quite boring though. Rice is equally as cheap. Get some meat late at night when it's going cheap and stick it in the freezer.
I'm doing great with money just now but saving up for loads of stuff so have given myself a £1 a day rule. Helps that I'm trying to lose weight as well and am eating next to nothing.
Asda had some frozen steamed chicken and mushroom risotto for 50p on promotion.
So, it definitely can be done!0 -
I currently live on about a £15 food budget a week, most weeks, so I would say most certainly but you have to have good self control and be good at shopping on the cheap. Tesco's late night reductions are my best friend lol..."Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions.
Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too,
can become great."
