the bathrooms have extractor fans and the kitchen has an extractor hood above the oven. The heating is gas central heating.
The mould has been recorded on at least 8 different occaisions by the handyman the letting agent employs to check the flat every 3 months. I know for a fact the other flats have mould as i was friends with the people who used to live downstairs and remember them reporting the mould to the letting agent themselves and the letting agent not being bothered. Also the handy man has told me all of the flats have mould so some degree.
I'm not really sure how my gp could prove my ear infection is caused by my house? hopefully environmental health will come out and ispect the propety and identify the type of mould we have, if it is the same i'm assuming its quite likely this is the cause, i should be able to get a letter no problem from my doctor confirming that i have this in my ears.0 -
The extactor fan and cooker-hood extractor should be run 24/7 plus the balcony door should be open every time you bathe or cook at the very least. Press the agent for the supply of a dehumidifier IN WRITING.0

I refer to my earlier post:Have you been reporting this for 2 years in writing to the address for Notices on your tenancy agreement? Or making informal phone calls?0 -

surely this seems a bit extreme to expect me to have to do this, the extractor fans in the bathrooms automatically turn off after 10 mins when the light has been switched off, so you think i should have the light and the extractor on all day long?
Also what are you supposed to do in the winter when its freezing? keep the doors open? all seems a bit crazy and a design flaw of the flat.0
