I shredded my Egg card last month and brought the balance to zero for the switchover otherwise there was a significant chance I would have done the same thing! Lucky you have a backup card :-)

It's slightly ridiculous that this was all done on one particular day. You couldnt even change the PIN on the barclaycard until today. I had both in my wallet, but I only remembered when I logged into Egg and my Egg card had disappeared!

Anyone have any luck getting Egg Money Manager to see their 'new' Barclaycard?

Thank you for this! It did make me chuckle - and great to know that I'm not the only one that makes mistakes when it comes to things like this:)

Just used the Nike offer voucher code to grab some bargain £15 running tights... and realised too late that Paypal was using my old Egg card. Doh! This after I had remembered to change my PIN earlier. But it's all MSE's fault for enticing me to spend money !

It's OK - there is a period of parallel runing of both old and new cards, according to a text they sent me after noting the post 7th Nov transaction on my old Egg card and I've used the new one.
