I have 3 that we ordered and used last year. They are fun as they do go quickly down the hill, but the problem is that you do get a wet bottom, plus it goes from under you, as they are only really a round bit of plastic with a short wobbly handle you hold onto. As another poster says it is just like a small tea tray idea. The kids much prefer the sledge as you are kept dry and don't fall off it on the way down the hill.

we have 2 of these but looking for sledges, anyone know where i can get 2 reasnable???

I saw a post on MSE saying Argos were sledges for about £8. I would get them as soon as you can, as last year once the snow came you couldn't get them anywhere as all sold out.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
    Arrived this morning - fantastic.

Hardly 'pocket' sledges though as they are as large as a dinner plate and quite rigid! Excellent stocking filler for my 3 boys though - assuming I can fit them in!

I bought 4 in Argos in Oct £7.50, but returned them (on bus!) yesterday as have ordered 4 of these ones for less than price of 1 from argos ... beginning to doubt myself now!

You should've kept 2 of the argos ones and ordered 2 of the pocket ones, best of both worlds then!

Wet bum - not for us. We all have Ski Trousers now, seems to be an essential these days for the winter, even for cold days when walk the dog. cannot imagine being without them now. Takes forever to get out the door but do love being all warm, cosy, and dry!!
