Buying Pet Medication Online...Safe?

My poodle has just turned 13, and unfortunately suffers from periodic incontinence. She was prescribed Incurin by the vet, but they are £18 for 30 tablets, and at the moment we are giving her half a tablet every day. I can get the tablets online for around £10 a pack. I just need recommendations for decent sites to order from. The last thing i want is to order from a dodgy website! Thanks!!

If they are a prescription only drug you will also need to factor in the cost of getting a prescription from your vet.
I have used https://www.vetuk.co.uk for many years with no issues . Others I've used are petmeds, bestpetpharmacy and a few others that the name escapes me! I tend to stick with VetUK as I click through an affiliate link which means VetUK donate 5% of my order total to the rescue/charity that I click through. They're also normally the cheapest for what I buy!0 -
Hi Minnie, sorry to hear your pooch is having a few problems, hopefully the tablets will sort her out.
I get metacam for my dog online (I'd rather get from the vet but at £68/bottle compared to £18 online, I just can't afford to).
Currently, I'm using Viovet http://www.viovet.co.uk/ as they were the cheapest that last time I had a prescription.
However, I've used quite a few others - the prices seem to change all the time so it's always having a hunt around.
Some others I've used are:
Medicanimal http://www.medicanimal.com/?gclid=CJKFwOLJpKwCFUEb4QodbXbPZA
Best Pets Pharmacy http://www.bestpet.co.uk/?gclid=CKPe1PLJpKwCFYEZ4QodPWUoAA
Vet Meds Direct http://www.vetmedsdirect.co.uk/?gclid=COHg3_vJpKwCFcgc4QoddjhI_g (this is quite near me so I've only picked up, not had a delivery)
Pet Meds http://www.petmeds.co.uk/?_kk=pet%20meds&_kt=c200895f-0a79-44bb-b8cf-921a4c49493c&gclid=CLrOvpvKpKwCFUsZ4QodIjyY_A
I've not had any problems with any of them and would recommend them all. Cashback is available on a few so worth having a look too. There are others and I'm sure I've missed one so if I remember I'll add it on.

Thanks for the info. I feel really bad about buying the medication elsewhere, cos our vet has been great, but even when i factor in the presription fee, it's still £40ish cheaper for a 6 month supply.0

Just be wary of any sites that will sell prescription medication without a prescription, there are a few out there that can operate legally in the sense they're actually based outside of the UK so allowed to stock prescription medication, but you may find yourself falling foul of the law by importing the medications without an importer's license. Also there are some that sell generic, short-dated/out-of-date products, or even counterfeit products that will, at best, be ineffective (and harmful to a dog reliant on medication for health purposes) or at worst cause harm with the ingredients in it.
I have bought online though and use ChemistDirect for my dogs' flea products, service seems good, you have to post an original prescription to them, but it all came through quite quickly0 -
I use these people. Have always had excellent service

Is there an over the counter product that can be used on dog warts?0
