in Credit cards
.... I haven't got a job as I've been signed off work for 16 months! But it seems that Capitial One has increased my limit from £400 to £1,000 after only 4 months of having the card. It says in their T&C that they will look at the limit after 6 or 7 months.
Plus I'm sure that the APR is 29.9% on my card after the 0% deal, so how long into a new job should I apply for a new card?
Oh, and does the Identity Protection cover all cards by Capitial One?
Thanks

The identity fraud help doesn't just cover cards by Capital One, it covers anything to do with your finances no matter who supplies it. Have a read of Martin's article. Note it is help rather than an automatic refund though.
As for how long to wait until applying for a new card - there is no hard and fast rule. If the rest of your credit history is very good then you will probably get one even if you have only just started, otherwise the longer you leave it the better.0
