Alice, lists are my saviour I find my mind is useless at the moment to remenber things. For example I forgot someone owed us money and last night she paid up and from that I paid the deposit for our Christmas meal we have with our friend in the village. We only managed to spend £10 at the pub as well which is brilliant for us. I have discovered if I take my own decaf teabags I get fee brews so that has to be money saving. :money:
Trying to work out how much to take for tonight, will have a chat with OH tonight and decide. My money monitoring seems to be rubbing off as OH has said from Dec pay he is taking out his remaining cash for the month so he can keep track of what he has left. This is a major step for him so something is going right!!Loan £19,728 £1,541 Virg £14,273.81 £8,228 @0% Barc £10,056 £0 NatW £3,682.73 £2,917 MBNA £9,624 £8,654 @0% Overdraft £3,500 £2,000Starting Jan 20 Total Debt £51,239 Mar 23 £23,341 DFD Jan 25 22mths to go Mortgage £248,011.94 £239,659 - MFD Nov 2047 Nov 2046 - LTV 66%EF £0/£300My diary{/URL}0 -

I'm pleased that your OH is on board too. It does ease the burden slightly.
Fingers crossed re the redundancy risk. And i admire you for taking the credit cards out of the purse, mine are maxed out now which I think contributed to my LBM last week so I've taken them out of my purse too. (Which i should of done ages ago!!!).
Well I'm off to the supermarket now with my list of course. LOL.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Alice, well done on the cc's coming out of the purse too, hope you stuck to your list.
Charlie - welcome, congrats on the expected new addition to the family, and good luck on your DFW journey
Well lets see what happened over the weekend, lets start with the list
-[STRIKE]plant my strawberry plants out before they die in the greenhouse [/STRIKE]-put some straw on the potato plants
-[STRIKE]get OH to did the bags of chicken sh##t from our friends in the village into the compost heap
[/STRIKE]-oil the garden furniture and put away for the winter
-sort out the gargage
-finish tidying the house (seems a never ending job) - Downstairs done
So still a few bits to do and a few to add but with OH's stinking hangover on Sat he was not much use.
The cricket meal was brilliant, as was the meal on Sat and board game on Sun, OH spent £45 in the pub for the meal and £15 on Sun (not too bad as Sat he was there from 6pm to 3.30am!!). My spend over the weekend £17.50 on logs for the wood burner, £2.50 toward nibbles for the board game, £14 Tesco (beer and a candle), so £34 not bad either £40 left to the end of the month - hmm may be tricky but no plans for this weekend, think it will be key to stay out of the pesky pub. Will try and post a to do list for this week later so I can see what progress is made;)Loan £19,728 £1,541 Virg £14,273.81 £8,228 @0% Barc £10,056 £0 NatW £3,682.73 £2,917 MBNA £9,624 £8,654 @0% Overdraft £3,500 £2,000Starting Jan 20 Total Debt £51,239 Mar 23 £23,341 DFD Jan 25 22mths to go Mortgage £248,011.94 £239,659 - MFD Nov 2047 Nov 2046 - LTV 66%EF £0/£300My diary{/URL}0 -
So the middle of the working week, always something to be happy about, and tomorrow marks that I am half way through the pregnancy!! Where does the time go. So from the list above OH is at home today so said he is going to attack the garage which I am pleased about. I have cleaned it 3 times this yr and I am not the one who then puts more stuff in it so feel it should be his job this time!!;)
We did a shop at Morrisons last night whcih should see us through the meal plan I have to the end of the month (i think) and do packed lunches etc, only things we will need may be some veg next week:) This should keep us within the budget in our SOA and leave some batch meals in the freezer, next step to satrt reducing this.
Today will be a NSD as I have no cash, brought a packed lunch, OH and I have agreed we have no money for the pub till the end of the month and I have yoga tonight which is already paid for. This will only be the seconf one this month but it all counts.:oLoan £19,728 £1,541 Virg £14,273.81 £8,228 @0% Barc £10,056 £0 NatW £3,682.73 £2,917 MBNA £9,624 £8,654 @0% Overdraft £3,500 £2,000Starting Jan 20 Total Debt £51,239 Mar 23 £23,341 DFD Jan 25 22mths to go Mortgage £248,011.94 £239,659 - MFD Nov 2047 Nov 2046 - LTV 66%EF £0/£300My diary{/URL}0 -
Well done on your meal plan and NSD, your doing great.
The garage is a strange place I think, no matter how many times I/we tidy up and sort out in there it doesn't take long before it becomes a dumping ground again.
Enjoy your time before the baby comes........time will fly by.

I know what you mean about the garage, we seem to have a friends bike in there, he lives further down the village and someone's blanket?? I think it is breeding stuff but if we get it sorted the coal bags and logs that are stacked outside can go in the bunkers at the back:DLoan £19,728 £1,541 Virg £14,273.81 £8,228 @0% Barc £10,056 £0 NatW £3,682.73 £2,917 MBNA £9,624 £8,654 @0% Overdraft £3,500 £2,000Starting Jan 20 Total Debt £51,239 Mar 23 £23,341 DFD Jan 25 22mths to go Mortgage £248,011.94 £239,659 - MFD Nov 2047 Nov 2046 - LTV 66%EF £0/£300My diary{/URL}0
